Author

Dr. Ian Clark is a researcher, author and world traveller. He has lived and worked in many nations – in schools, academies and universities in Japan, China, Saudi Arabia, UK, the USA, and Europe. It has been a challenging and fulfilling adventure that has spanned some 25 years as an educator. He is very grateful for the many opportunities to work alongside people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, experiencing their cultures, identities, and daily lives.

Dr. Clark completed his Ph.D. in 2013. The year of 2013 isn’t just an important year for him. It is a very important year for everybody, particularly if you live in America, or have an interest in this exceptional nation. We should all pay very close attention to this year. Why? The answer is profound. The year 2013 is the unofficial, inaugural year of the so-called, “Post-Christian Society” (formerly, “post-modernity”). It is an era characterized by states of flux, cultural fragmentation, conflict, and chaos – we can see this around us. Cruelty and confusion are inevitable when Christian values are abolished and people find themselves besieged by narratives that ‘tease’ indecency, destruction and dishonesty. Read about the startling histories, shocking events, and contemporary complexities that have led humanity into the post-Christian era inside Dr. Clark’s new 700 page book, “Inside The American Cultural-Identity Conundrum”.

Back Cover Text (Overview)

The American “hot potato”.It is a symbol for a most extraordinary nation. The sustaining reality that was once America’s “exceptional” democracy is failing. [Democracy is gone. The technocracy is here]. It is an increasingly aberrant place; a place where polarizing controversies rage, relentlessly, and in full public view. And the public? Without the opportunity to speak-up and say “No”, people everywhere are coerced into the stagnating chaos of arcane doctrines (see inside). Narrow ideologies have stoked extreme contentions around race, gender and sexuality. In recent years, these have been ‘revitalized’ (weaponized) to the advantage of the radical elite. It is a destructive and grim spectacle, especially for parents.

There is an intentional design, devised to uproot the traditions of once stable communities, destroying co-present society and diminishing the identities of those who must live together. Very unfortunately, mean-spirited smears abound, and sensible conversations are compromised by anxiety, fear and anger. The issues facing working Americans are, perhaps, the most divisive, even deviant, that have ever been witnessed in the history of humanity. In its effect, it is the dismissal of human dignity. The clear intention is to bring about an entirely new way of “being”. It is a serious deviation that requires a great deal more of the public’s awareness. This new era is characterized as one of disruption, discouragement – and its hallmark – humiliation. These are manufactured states for public consumption by media, politicians and corporations. The inevitable outcome is that few reasonable people understand the times in which they live.

In response, the author delivers the deepest dive yet into this immensely powerful country. This volume is organized into twelve deeply researched sections. Each section, and each chapter therein, carefully and comprehensively delineates the development of the American cultural-identity into the current day.
